A 75 kg rider on an 8 kg bike, riding a strong, even effort for the length of the road. In slope mode your speed comes from your own power and weight, so your time will differ; the app re-estimates it for you.
Riding it indoors
After a 10-minute warm-up, MeepMeep hands the trainer the road: the real gradient every few metres and the rolling resistance of the surface. You choose the gear and the power. Speed comes from your watts, your weight and the slope, and the ride ends at Koppenberg, however long that takes.
These are short and punchy, so they suit a hard session: ride them after a long Zone 2 block and they become durability work on real terrain. On pavé and gravel the trainer adds the surface’s rolling resistance, so a flat sector still costs watts.
Make it easier or harder
- Gradient feel in Settings lowers how much of the gradient the trainer applies, without changing your speed or the climb.
- Pace assist (
E) switches to ERG and holds a pacing target, so you can ride it at exactly the power you want;↑/↓move it. - The ride records elevation, and the FIT export includes it, so the climb shows up in Strava or intervals.icu.
