Choose Zwift if…
- You want company: group rides, races and other riders on screen make hours pass faster.
- You train on an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, or your trainer only speaks ANT+.
- You enjoy riding virtual routes and climbs more than following targets.
Choose MeepMeep if…
- Your goal is a brevet, a 1200 km randonnée or an ultra race, and you want a plan built around that event, with back-to-back long days and durability rides.
- You want hard efforts after a long pre-load, a durability test, and fatigued power after 1,000 to 4,000 kJ in your ride analysis.
- You ride 4 to 6 hours indoors and want carb, fluid and sodium prompts and stand-up reminders on a schedule.
- You do not want a subscription or an account, and you want your data to stay on your own device.
Using both
You can use both. Every MeepMeep workout is available as a free .zwo download, and .zwo is Zwift's own format: put the files in your Zwift workouts folder to ride MeepMeep's durability sessions in Watopia. Rides you record in MeepMeep export as FIT files for Strava, intervals.icu or Garmin Connect.
